Don't hid the button at the bottom of the first page ("Begin Application"). Otherwise the online application works well.

I found the residency question difficult. For example I studied abroad and visited family out of state for a few months and so have not technically lived in California continuously. I believe the question should be stated as: Have you had residency in California since 1/12/2007?

I submitted my application then received an error stating that the college I had applied to had closed the intended area of study I had selected. It took me back to the page where I would change my intended area which required me to go through all of the pages again.

It was impossible to get off page 4 without entering information about what colleges I have attended. I have only taken classes at the JC and it would not accept that without a degree completed date. I haven't completed a degree so finally had to say I was attending right out of high school. This was irritating and a waste of time.

It was straight forward and easy enough. I'm uncomfortable with putting my SSN in the form online though.

I personally thought this process was confussing and found questions about my ethnicity insulting! I don't know why you ask these questions for someone who answers that they are a US Citizen.Additionally I found the application process very confussing and frustrating. I'll think twice about returning to the JC in the future.

I was already enrolled in school so this seemed a little pointless plus the employees I talk to don't like their new system

I am still sent voting information from another state but was unable to put that down because it would not allow me to continue. Other than that this site was very nice.

School-finding search engine is very slow to load. I also had to complete the entire application twice after receiving an error message the first time through.

too many personal unrelated questions spent way too much time filing out online easier just to go to the campus

I was told that I could just give approximate dates for the years I attended College of Marin and SRJC. This should be stated on the forms - i.e. "If you are a returning SRJC student approximate dates are sufficient". Thanks. Otherwise I was VERY pleased that I was able to avoid the hand delivery of the application to SRJC. Thank!!

It was annoying to have to re-apply after all these years of continued attendance. However the actual enrollment process was more streamlined and easier to use.

too long and too much info going out. its a waste of time filling out pointless questions that take too long! and ive done this 5 times in the last few years cuz you keep on changing stuff and i have to reaply and im not awake during the day to call any one. this just made me angry.

I'd like to know what classes are needed for my course of study before i enroll

Too much info needed to attend a 32 hour course. Past college info for somebody taking job related course training class shuold not be needed. Was unable to give accurate info as some colleges dates are over 35 years old.

Simple straight-forward self-explanatory application; the way it is supposed to be. Thanks for making it an easy process.

The paper application was much more convenient to fill out. There seemed to be a lot more questions on the online application.

i would like to say that it was a very simple application and i think that is great for the verity of people that apply for the jc.

all I am trying to find is my unofficial transcripts! they are not where they used to be :-(

when I put in previously attended SRJC the application would not let me skip putting others colleges down below--not sure why it came up as an error but it was frustrating. Finally just said I was 1st time college student and it went through.

this is easy for younger people who went to high school recently but i know my mother had trouble signing up for classes because her high school no longer exists and it is hard to know information from back that far.

I had trouble establishing an account but after that it was easy to go through the process.

high school I graduated from in 1971 merged with another local school so is not on your list. Same with the college I went to (part of Northwestern in Evanston)

This application was short sweet and to the point however i got a little confused because i don't remember there being a question that asks if i am currently enrolled in another university...maybe I just forgot though...

the only problem i find is when it came to the resident of californa it did not give me the optional that i'm not a resident of californa go to the next page i still had to answer question that didn't protend to me

Too much unnecessary stuff I am a returning retiree chances of remembering accurately dates in the 1970's are remote

It took awhile for the system to direct me to the appropriate page. I must have written my email address a half dozen times. One page continued to tell me I had not filled in all required info but could not tell me what I'd missed and it didn't seem to me I'd missed any even after the 4th attempt. So a little frustrating.

it was fairly simple. although there were a few places that were confusing. the main being at the end where it asks for the SRJC student id number if one is a new student they do not have one so it makes it fairly confusing on where to go from there.

This application system no matter what I did kept coming back as my son's name. I had to use multiple user names and passwords and finally had to go in in person. I got an add slip for a course that was still open which frustrated the professor. I am about to try once again to add this class but clearly this has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I am computer literate and go to srjc meetings and still had problems with the system.

Using this method of applying for the Santa Rosa Junior College was very effective and easy. I had absolutely no trouble at all understanding anything they asked.

Well when I first applied I didn't really know all I had to do. I forgot my password and username but that was my fault. When I called cccapply they kindly gave me the information I needed to submit my application.

i just want to say that this way to take the application is very easy and more better to every single student. My question is how will i know i ready got accept?

there should be an option for out-of-state students so they don't have to answer "no" to all of the questions that pertain to in-state students.

Dudes and dudesses I did the application. Then I went to the portal. Then it sent me back to the application. So I did it again.... I have to check NO to keep them from giving out my SS #...dudes that's wrong! And do they REALLY need to know to the day when I went to which school? Why? TOO much detail. Get it down to the basics so us stupid people can still take classes! Thank you for you time.

The start date of 5/2/09 is confusing on a fall application process. I'm in the process of moving back to California after three years away and my new guardian until 19 will be my grandmother in California but there is no way to put my parent in with non-california residency (also 3 years now). The questions/answers on the application don't allow it.

If this is a one time process OK. But if I have to reapply each year this process is way too long.

I don't understand why some of the questions were on this website. I don't see why the question of our parent's work would be vital information to be accepted into college. Otherwise it was easier than applying on paper and quicker too.

I am concurrently a high school student but have taken classes at colleges in the past and this program gave an error message saying I couldn't be a special-admit student if I had taken classes at college before. So I changed my enrollment status to "returning student" and the program gave an error message saying I couldn't be a returning student if I was also a high school student but I am.

The list of Majors and Educational Objectives is excessively detailed in some areas and omits many choices in other areas.

The beginning button to start the application process from the SRJC site wasn't entirely clear to me I didn't notice which ones I was supposed to do.

It was simple and straight forward to fill out. One part that was confusing was the dates that you were supposed to have have your diploma and the options listed there.

The date for Fall 2009 term started at 5/2/09 However the start date for term Summer 2009 started 6/12/09 Something didn't quite add up

One of the questions was required and none of the answers fit me so I had to pick the closest one.

I got a little hung up in the application at the college information question. For some reason I had to enter college information i.e. dates of beginning and ending when I have not received a degree yet. ???
