Independent Study Courses

     Independent study courses are developed in consultation

     between a student and the instructor, and require the

     approval of the division chair and the Senior Dean of

     Instruction. On approval of the study plan, the independent

     study course will be assigned the number 298. This

     number indicates the course is designed to satisfy

     AA/AS degree and certificate requirements and is also

     transferable to four-year colleges and universities.

     Contract forms for independent study “Request to

     Enroll in Independent Study 298” are available in

     all division offices.
