CONCURRENT ENROLLMENT
K-12 Students and Home-schooled Minors
Students who are 14 years of age or older or those who have completed the eighth grade or higher are eligible for concurrent enrollment as Special Admit students to Contra Costa College.
Registration for concurrent enrollment students is held in person only during Open Registration. Please refer to the academic calendar for current Open Registration dates.
1. Public and private school K-12 students must submit
form signed by the 1) student; 2) parent or guardian;
and 3) school principal.

3. Concurrent enrollment in fall and spring courses will be
contingent on a space available basis after priority
enrollment.
4. Any course offered at a school site must be an open
enrollment college level course not offered by the school
and not designed specifically for concurrently enrolled
students. The agreement between the college and the
school for the specific course, as well as the dates of
instruction are to be attached to the application for
enrollment.
5. During summer session high school sophomores who
will be juniors in the coming academic year will be treated
as juniors.
